Illustration of the Imperial Hotel in Erskineville by Emma Simmons.
The iconic hotel has been at the heart of the LGBTQIA community since the 1980's. The pub has featured many spectacular drag performances and was famously featured in the 1994 film 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'.
The Imperial Hotel is a limited edition Art Print (using archival pigment inks on fine art paper) of a digital collage, created with water colour, ink and fabric. It is from a limited edition of 250, hand numbered and signed.
We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Gadigal-Wangal people of the Eora Nation and pay our respects to Elders, past and present and emerging.
